The initial concept of Tanunda Town Band's Classic Series was to perform a smaller more intimate concert featuring works of  renowned composers. Our inaugural Classics concert took place in 2004  at Yalumba Winery's  Upper Barrel  Hall and featured compositions by Giuseppe Verdi.

The series has gained recognition and respect as a sophisticated evening of high quality entertainment. Past themes include The Great Composers, Classic Broadway, From Russia With Love and Popular Classics. We are joined by talented vocal artistes... past concerts have featured performances by Kirsti Harms and Andrew Crispe.

 

The Classics Series concert takes place annually  and showcases  local venues and wineries in the Barossa Valley. Past venues have included Yalumba Winery, Torbreck Winery, Rolf Binder Winery, AP John Coopers and  Chateau Tanunda.

This year the "Classic Series" will feature a performance at Chateau Tanunda; a matinee performance  on Sunday 24th November.  More details will be released soon.
